To describe a day, my everyday life. Often I was asked to do that. In the end, everyday life is still everyday life, whether here or there. You wake up, have breakfast, deal with the household, go shopping, work, prepare food, eat, talk over coffee or tea, watch TV or listen to the radio, and then sleep again. The essence which makes the difference for me between the Malina everyday life and others is the way it’s led. I was particularly fascinated with the sounds that accompanied these activities. They gave distinction and escort the routine I experienced there. I captured the sound generators in moving pictures. With these videos images I created a small movie, which describes the Malian daily routine.
